Mama June’s star Pumpkin, aka Lauryn, spilled the tea on her wedding and on planning for future kids with Darrin. She discussed it publicly during one of her latest interviews, when she went with her family to promote From Not To Hot Season 8. The spinoff’s trailer has given fans some iconic moments to look forward to in the premiere episode.

Pumpkin and Josh have both love and hate for each other post-divorce. While Josh hated the sight of his ex-wife romancing his cousin Darrin, he had also built his own family. Pumpkin, for the first time, showed off her lover, Darrin. She didn’t bring him to last year’s Family Crisis because Mama June was skeptical of her choice, given that he was Josh’s cousin. But Lauryn’s acceptance and carefree attitude have paved the way to go public with Darrin completely. Only his debut on WeTV remained, so this is also what she fulfilled.

After Pumpkin rang her divorce bells with Josh after six years of a happy-and-unhappy marriage, she officially introduced Darrin as her boyfriend. She started to date him before the divorce, so fans think she cheated on her husband with him. Regardless, Darrin gave the cameras a broad smile as Pumpkin proudly called him her beau. She revealed she is very much interested in marrying Darrin someday, but she isn’t in the mood to rush things. At the moment, Mama June’s daughter is steadily moving forward with him in their relationship, dating and living together to get to know each other better.

Pumpkin was asked if she would love to have kids with Darrin as well. June and her other daughters jumped in to say a big no. Pumpkin shared how their house is full with her four kids and Darrin’s two. The anchor wasn’t aware of the fact that her boyfriend had children of his own, too. But it seems Pumpkin would resist the planning of kids in the near future.

Pumpkin’s kids with Josh, whom they are co-parenting, are still very young. Josh seems distant from her family after the divorce because he talked a bit with Alana. Alana said divorce was tough for him. However, Darrin’s coming to the family’s picture has led Pumpkin to consider him the right man for herself.

Pumpkin had initially known Darrin through some friends. But also, Josh’s family made her see him more. The couple changed many things to fit in their relationship without guilt. Making her kids meet him has been ideal for her. For now, she would like to wait for the perfect time for her second marriage.
