NEW UPDATE! Emmerdale’s Moira to be arrested in shocking new Celia twist
Emmerdale’s Moira Dingle is arrested for human trafficking next week, after the police find incriminating evidence at Butler’s Farm linking her to Celia Daniels’ sick operation. As Hotten police swarm the village in search of answers about the horrors that have been occurring right on the locals’ doorsteps, Moira’s fraught business relationship with wicked Celia puts her in the frame…
Moira’s ordeal begins early in the week when the police descend on the village, led by DC Stewart, who’s grimly determined to get to the truth about Celia’s wrongdoings.
At Butler’s Farm, she begins by grilling the staff. With Moira out collecting her husband Cain from hospital, Robert and Victoria Sugden do their very best to paint Moira in a good light during their interview – yet are left questioning whether their efforts have been enough to prove her innocence…
When Cain and Moira return, DC Stewart wastes no time in commencing their interview, pressing Moira for insider information about her relationship with Celia.

However, when the police head to Home Farm to question Joe Tate, he hints that Moira may not be as innocent as she seems – ultimately leading to her arrest…
Cain and Moira are terrified when the police turn up at Butler’s Farm again – and this time, they have a search warrant.
Believing that there’s nothing that could tie her to Celia, Moira allows the police to comb through her belongings – but is stunned when they emerge with damning evidence.
“As far as she’s concerned, Moira’s got nothing to hide, so she’s more than happy when they have a look around,” explains Natalie J Robb, who plays the farmer. “When they come across evidence, she realises how deep this runs and how manipulative Celia has been. Moira has been truly implicated in the whole operation.”

With the evidence stacked against her, shamefaced Moira is arrested and marched down to the station, leaving a devastated Cain in her wake.
As she goes, Caleb Miligan vows to support his brother by getting Moira the best lawyer possible – but how did the evidence get into the family’s living room? And will any lawyer be good enough to prove Moira’s innocence?
