The harrowing episode began with April trapped in the clutches of dangerous criminals Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths). For weeks, the manipulative pair have coerced April and her friend Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into their drugs operation, convincing them they owe thousands in “debt.”
Under threat, April reluctantly agreed to meet a client named Callum, who was paying Ray and Celia for access to her. But when fear took over and April tried to escape, the meeting turned violent.
Callum locked the door and sneered that he didn’t care what she wanted. As he began to undress, April fought him off — grabbing a nearby vodka bottle and striking him hard across the head.
