DON’T MISS IT!!! ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star Savannah Chrisley teases political futurey
In a twist no one saw coming, Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley may be swapping reality TV fame for a reality in politics. The 27-year-old television personality, who famously fought
for the release of her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley from federal prison earlier this year, has hinted that her next chapter could take her all the way to Washington, D.C.
The bold revelation came during Savannah’s recent appearance at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, where she addressed a captivated audience of young conservatives.
With her trademark confidence and southern charm, Savannah dropped the bombshell:
“I had a meeting a few weeks ago at the White House about potentially taking over a House seat that’s coming available,” she revealed. “I went through the process to see what that would look like for me and my family — and what a journey that would be.”
Her comment immediately sent political and entertainment circles buzzing. Could Savannah Chrisley — the one-time pageant queen and reality star — really be eyeing a future in Congress?

A Star-Turned-Political Hopeful
Savannah’s comments come just months after her parents’ shocking release from prison, an event that marked one of the most dramatic turns in the Chrisley family’s long and turbulent public saga. Todd and Julie Chrisley, the once-beloved stars of USA Network’s Chrisley Knows Best, were convicted in 2022 for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, tax evasion, and wire fraud.
The couple was accused of securing over $36 million in fraudulent loans, using falsified financial documents to maintain their lavish lifestyle of designer clothes, luxury cars, and real estate investments. In 2023, Todd began serving a 12-year sentence in Florida, while Julie was sent to a Kentucky facility to serve seven years.
But in May 2025, the Chrisleys’ fortunes changed dramatically. After an intense public campaign led by Savannah — and with the signature of former President Donald Trump, who granted the couple full pardons — Todd and Julie were finally freed.
Savannah’s relentless advocacy for her parents not only showcased her tenacity but also established her as a rising voice in conservative circles. She has since become a fixture at political events and conservative conferences, championing causes she believes in and openly criticizing what she calls the “two-faced judicial system.”
At the 2024 Republican National Convention, Savannah made headlines when she declared that “Christians and conservatives have been unfairly persecuted by a system designed to silence them.” Her words resonated deeply with many within the GOP, and it now appears her growing influence may have opened doors to political opportunity.
“Going for the Big Dog”
When asked whether she would seriously consider running for office, Savannah didn’t hold back her ambitions.
“Right now, I don’t know if I want the House seat,” she told the crowd. “I think maybe there’s a Senate seat that could come in my future in the next three years — and I’m going to go for the big dog.”
While Tennessee — where Savannah currently resides — has no Senate races scheduled in the next three years, her remarks have already fueled speculation. Could the reality star be testing the political waters for a campaign beyond her home state? Or perhaps laying the groundwork for a longer-term political career?
Whatever her plans, one thing is clear: Savannah’s pivot from reality TV to the political arena is more than a passing thought.
