The Baby Beat

Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) pregnancy continues to progress smoothly. She visits Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) for a routine examination and is overcome with emotion when she hears something for the very first time. “My baby’s heartbeat,” gushes a teary-eyed Chanel.

New Coupling?

Arianna (Marissa Reyes) has an encounter with a new man: Liam (Hank Northrop). She runs into him at Horton Square. It appears that they end up having a nice moment together, because she gives him a sweet kiss on the cheek as she leaves. Is this the beginning of a new love story?

They may no longer be patients together at Bayview Sanitarium, but Sophia (Rachel Boyd) won’t let go of her hold on Rachel (Alice Halsey). In fact, she wants the child to do her bidding and places a phone call to her.

Rachel answers and is perplexed by Sophia’s request. “You want me to give Holly (Ashley Puzemis) a gift, but you don’t want me to tell her that it’s from you?” responds Rachel.

The Wrong Man?

Marlena (Deidre Hall, who recently said goodbye to Billy Flynn on social media) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have a conversation about Jeremy (Michael Roark), who’s the prime suspect in Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) stalker case. However, Marlena delivers some surprising news. “He doesn’t fit the profile of somebody who would do a thing like this,” declares Marlena.

Kayla’s surprised. “Are you saying that you don’t think that Jeremy is capable of kidnapping Stephanie?” asks Kayla.

Heroine in Danger

Meanwhile, Jeremy surfaces looking menacing in a black hoodie. Moments later, Stephanie encounters someone in medical scrubs at the hospital. The person slowly creeps up behind her and chloroforms her.

Later, Stephanie is seen unconscious, gagged, and tied to a chair in a storage room. Could Jeremy be the one who put her there? Obviously, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) believes he is. “You lay a finger on Stephanie’s head, and I swear to God I will kill you,” he promises.
