Big Trouble!!! Why Savannah, Grayson Chrisley Left Chase Out of Parents’ Prison Pickup

Savannah Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley were over the moon when their parents were released from prison — but the moment didn’t bring the entire family together.

During the Tuesday, September 9, episode of Lifetime’s The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Chase Chrisley revealed that he was excluded from picking up dad Todd Chrisley

and mom Julie Chrisley from prison after they each spent 28 months in jail for bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion charges.

His younger brother, Grayson, however, was fully in the loop and part of the pickup crew for Julie, 52, in Kentucky. Savannah, 28, was in charge of retrieving Todd, 56, in Florida.

“Chase was supposed to be included, but Chase left the house for some reason,” Grayson, 19, explained during the episode, which documented the day in May that both Todd and Julie were granted a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. “At that point that’s on him. If you’re not there, you’re not there.”

Chase, 29, revealed during episode 6 of the reality show that he received a call from his sister Savannah prior to their parents’ release making the news.

When he got to their family home, he attempted to help coordinate Todd and Julie’s transport, but Savannah had it handled.

“Chase has been nonexistent during this entire process,” Savannah claimed. “I was at the house and that’s when Grayson said he would go get mom, I would go get dad. That was the best way for it to play out.”

She further alleged, “No one really had the emotional capacity or want to have to deal with Chase and all of his crazy emotions. Trying to dictate or not help.”

Savannah quipped, “You also don’t get to have a say if you’re not financially helping to contribute to this whole process.”

While Savannah was in Florida waiting for Todd and Grayson was in Kentucky preparing for Julie’s release, Chase was home in Tennessee with Nanny Faye. During a heart-to-heart with his grandmother, Chase admitted he was “pissed off” at how the travel arrangements were handled.

“Savannah was the one who got to make the decision on who was going to pick up my parents. I don’t think it was handled well,” he confessed.

Julie’s mom, Pam Hughes, was also upset that she wasn’t there to hug her daughter outside of the prison.

“I did want to [be involved]. I’ve said that since day one,” Pam said during a confessional.
