It’s a jam-packed visit to Emmerdale tonight, with some major plot developments as Bear Wolf’s dark storyline continues and Dawn Fletcher shares big news with Joe Tate. Meanwhile, we also find out why Cain Dingle is about to return to his old criminal ways.
Here’s a rundown of four big story shocks, which could send many of our favourite characters in new directions.
1. Graham declares his love for Rhona

It was only ever a matter of time. The show has been revisiting Graham Foster’s past with Rhona Goskirk since his shock return from the dead last month – and his unresolved feelings haven’t gone unnoticed.
Joe proves to be an unlikely matchmaker tonight, encouraging Graham to be honest with Rhona about how he feels.
But when Graham takes this advice, what response will he get? And how will Rhona’s husband Marlon Dingle feel when he finds out what Graham has been up to behind his back? Surely this couple have been through enough…
2. Bear gives his plea – and his short-term future is revealed

There’s hope for Bear tonight, with his legal team optimistic after the charge against him was reassessed and reduced to manslaughter. This suggests that the wider context surrounding Bear killing Ray Walters is being taken into account.
In an off-camera court hearing, Bear decides to plead not guilty, and he’s allowed to return home to the village – wearing a tag – as he awaits trial. Could Bear walk free at the end of this dark saga?
3. Cain has made a big mistake
Cain continues to lean on his granddaughter Sarah as a source of support tonight, as she’s one of the only people who knows the full truth about his prostate cancer diagnosis.
In a vulnerable moment, Cain admits that he let his life insurance lapse last year. As it’d now be more difficult to sign up for a new policy, Cain fears that his family won’t be provided for if the worst happens.
Sarah has an idea, though, seeing this as the perfect chance to unleash some classic Dingle-style criminal behaviour to make some fast cash. Will Cain be tempted?
4. Dawn takes a pregnancy test
Dawn’s latest spat with Joe comes to an abrupt halt when she takes a test and discovers that she’s not pregnant after all. Joe had got his hopes up over the possibility of becoming a father, but this time, things haven’t gone his way.
But could Dawn’s announcement over their next move be music to Joe’s ears? Will we still see a new Tate born into the Home Farm dynasty?
