HOTTES NEWS TODAY!!! EastEnders lines up siege horror as Ravi Gulati mental health plot escalates
EastEnders fans see Ravi Gulati’s mental health continue to deteriorate next week, prompting him to instigate a siege at the local pharmacy. After Nugget suffers another frightening seizure, Ravi hits rock bottom and impulsively locks a number of Walford residents in the shop. Will his rash actions put anyone else in danger?
“The pharmacy is in lockdown, and Ravi’s losing control,” says our EastEnders insider. “The various stresses in his life have taken their toll, so he panics and resorts to desperate measures. No one can leave until he gets what he wants…”
Ravi is still secretly working with the police as an informant in the drugs operation – with Mark working to sniff out the mole in the gang. Meanwhile, Ravi feels he needs work to provide for his family, so this week he decides to apply for a job at the car lot.
Ravi swots up on his selling skills and gets ready for his big interview with Lauren. But when he turns up, he is horrified to discover that it is Lauren’s dad Max who will be grilling him!

Ravi’s confidence takes another knock when Priya accidentally bruises his ego, plus he finds himself still on the search for a job following his disastrous interview.
Luckily, Mark steps in and offers him a dodgy drugs job at the last minute, but disaster strikes when Nugget has another seizure and Ravi misses the important meet-up as he comes to his son’s rescue.
Ravi’s day couldn’t get much worse, as Priya then scolds him for forgetting to pick up Nugget’s medication, something which is crucial since the teen’s epilepsy diagnosis.

Determined to make amends, Ravi heads to the pharmacy to collect the medication, but he runs into yet another setback when there is a problem with dispensing the prescription. This is the final straw for Ravi, who suddenly snaps…
“It’s desperate times for Ravi,” explains our source. “He is wracked with guilt over the accidental attack on his son that led to Nugget’s diagnosis, and he feels that he is constantly letting down his kids. He wants to get one thing right for his boy, and won’t stop until he gets the prescription…”

Ravi locks the door, trapping the likes of his ex-lover Denise, newcomer Bea and Nugget himself in the pharmacy – all of whom grow increasingly alarmed as the situation rapidly escalates.
While Ravi has hidden his self-harm ordeal from everyone until now, this scary scenario means that his mental health struggle is out in the open. There are harrowing scenes ahead, but will he get the help that he needs?
