Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd shares huge real-life announcement – six months after wedding
Less than a year after tying the knot with his other half, Hanni Treweek, Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd has made a major announcement: the couple are expecting their first child together!
They uploaded an Instagram video from a photoshoot at North Yorkshire’s Grantley Hall, where Hanni showed off her bump and carried a pair of tiny shoes, while Jack held her hand and kissed her stomach.
“We’ve been keeping a secret… June 2026,” Hanni wrote in the caption of their joint post.
“Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.”
Plenty of fellow soap stars jumped into the comments to share their congratulations and messages of love.

“What wonderful news! Congratulations,” wrote Lisa Swain actor Vicky Myers, while the recently-departed Daniel Brocklebank said, “Congratulations you two!”
“Congratulations beautiful people,” wrote the recently-returned Catherine Tyldesley, while Samia Longchambon added “So happy for you both”.
Other stars to comment included Jack’s on-screen other half, Julia Goulding, on-screen son, Paddy Bever, Lucy Fallon, Georgia Taylor, Alan Halsall, Helen Flanagan, Cait Fitton, Claire Sweeney, Bhavna Limbachia, Tanisha Gorey and Jane Danson from Corrie, Danny Miller and Michelle Hardwick from Emmerdale, and former Hollyoaks and Corrie star Nikki Sanderson.
Shepherd has two children from his previous relationship with Lauren Shippey, as well as a son, who was the result of a one night stand with Sammy Milewski.
In sillier news, the David Platt actor recently revealed that he had a run in with a police officer who thought he was drink driving.
However, it turned out that his erratic steering was actually down to him avoiding potholes.
“I went, ‘Do you know how many I have popped just on that road down there? Three. In my lifetime. In the same car. Three’” he told his podcast co-hosts Colson Smith and Ben Price.
They joked that he probably used his fame to get all his tickets written off, but Shephard joked that it sadly wasn’t the case.
