It’s a week of romance in Salem as the town and all its couples celebrate Valentine’s Day (a bit late) as teased in the latest Days of Our Lives preview. But as love is blooming for some, one person’s heart is not with their date! Plus, Chad says goodbye to family and friends as he is off on a new adventure, and he’s not leaving alone.

Love Is In the Air

Couples all over Salem are celebrating Valentine’s Day. (Hey, better late than never!) Abe and Paulina share a romantic night out, as do Steve and Kayla, who are also celebrating their anniversary.

Even though Kristen forced Brady’s hand and moved in with him, that doesn’t stop him from pitching the woo to Sarah. As for her ex, someone seems to be jumping Xander’s bones! Then there are Alex and Stephanie, who are clearly still in the honeymoon phase.

On a date with Jada, Theo zones out and daydreams he’s with Gabi! Gabi, meanwhile, is heating things up with Philip. But might her mind be elsewhere, too?

It’s Goodbye… for Now

Finally, Chad says his final goodbyes to Jack, Jen and Julie. But he’s not leaving Salem alone. Thomas and Charlotte are bidding the town farewell, too!

But before Chad says goodbye, he places a candy heart on Abigail’s albeit empty grave, as her body still has to be located. Might she be in Rolf’s lab? Or is it Lexie he’s trying to bring back to life?

Fear not, though, Chad will be back with Connor Floyd in the role. Might Thomas and Charlotte also be SORAS’d when they return?
