Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor and her husband have been inundated with messages of support after sharing a sweet update online.

Sally joined the ITV soap back in 1986 playing Sally and recently celebrated 40 years on the cobbles. Since then, it’s fair to say she has become a soap legend and has played a part in several big storylines.

From a devastating cancer battle to her many failed romances on the street, Sally’s time in Weatherfield has not been short of drama. Especially at the moment, as she and husband Tim (Joe Duttine) have been having problems in their marriage.

Away from the soap though, actress Sally is loved-up with husband Tim. Sally married writer and director Tim in 1995 and the couple have three children, Phoebe, Samuel and Hattie.

Sally’s husband Tim is a successful screenwriter, who has worked on ITV soap Emmerdale, as well as TV series The Drowning and Desperate Measures.

And recently, Sally delighted fans after giving them a look into her private life with Tim. Taking to her Instagram, she shared several snaps from their trip to Iceland of the happy couple taking in the glorious sights.

She captioned the post: “Well that was an adventure. What a wonderful, beautiful country Iceland is.” As expected, fans and co-stars were left gushing over the post.

Jane Danson gushed: “Pretty special I really want to go again. Glad you had a fab time Sal.” Sally Ann Matthews also penned: “Oh wowzers,” while Jude Riordan said: “I’m going next week!”

Meanwhile, last year, Sally revealed that she and Tim are keen to enjoy new experiences and take on exciting challenges. Not least because they are both cancer survivors – after Tim was diagnosed in 2023 and, thankfully, like Sally, made a full recovery.

Determined to make the most of every moment, they recently enjoyed a dream holiday – from their ‘bucket list’ wish list – to Japan. She told The Mirror: “Going through something like that makes you want to embrace life all the more.

“We’d love to do more travelling. We’re trying really hard to just do lots of lovely things while we can. You just don’t know what’s round the corner, do you? That’s why we’ve decided we should do a couple of our bucket list things.

“We all put stuff off and think ‘it’s too expensive, I’m not going to do that.’ But we’re in our 60s now and this is the time to be doing these things.”

Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
