7 Coronation Street Spoilers (9-13 February 2026): Carl Webster’s Arson Plot! Arson, Abuse and the Collapse of Trust in Weatherfield 🔥

Next week on Coronation Street, Weatherfield teeters on the edge of catastrophe. What begins as petty workplace tension spirals into a full-blown arson plot, while behind closed doors one of the show’s most beloved characters is being systematically destroyed by the person who claims to love him. Add in a dangerous newcomer infiltrating the Platt family, a shadowy figure circling Bernie Winter, and a past crime that may finally be unmasked, and you have a week that promises shock after shock.

From Monday 9th to Friday 13th February, secrets won’t just be exposed — they’ll explode. And when the dust settles, several lives may be changed forever.

1. Carl Webster’s Arson Plot: Revenge That Could Burn the Street Down

Carl Webster has always been trouble. But next week, he crosses a line that could cost lives.

With Debbie Webster in prison following her legal troubles, Carl has been left in charge of the Chariot Square Hotel. It should be a chance for him to prove himself, to keep the family business afloat. Instead, it becomes the spark for something truly dangerous.

The problem is Ryan Connor.

Ryan is now calling the shots at the hotel, backed up by Ronnie Bailey, and Carl cannot stand it. He sees himself as superior, entitled, and refuses to take orders from someone he considers beneath him. The final straw comes over something trivial — QR code stickers for the tables. Ryan tells Carl to put them out. Carl bins them instead.

When Ryan finds out, he’s furious. He confronts Carl, Ronnie backs him up, and in a moment of public humiliation, Ryan fires Carl on the spot.

Most people would storm off, lick their wounds, and move on. But Carl isn’t wired like most people.

Consumed by rage and wounded pride, Carl decides that if he can’t run the hotel, no one should. He begins plotting an arson attack on the Chariot Square, willing to destroy his own mother’s livelihood just to get revenge.

It’s not a tantrum — it’s premeditated. And the terrifying part? No one seems to realise just how unhinged Carl has become.

Meanwhile, Debbie is struggling in prison, assigned a “buddy” — none other than Lou Michaelis. Adam Barlow is hoping Debbie’s recent mini-stroke might lead to a reduced sentence. But if she’s released to discover her hotel reduced to ashes, it could finish her completely.

2. Todd Grimshaw’s Abuse Reaches Breaking Point

If Carl’s storyline is terrifying, Todd Grimshaw’s is heartbreaking.

For weeks, viewers have watched Theo Silverton tighten his grip on Todd. But next week, the abuse becomes impossible to ignore.

Todd is exhausted. Emotionally, physically, financially drained. Theo controls everything — his money, his food, his time, even his self-worth.

When Sarah and George take Todd out for a drink and a takeaway, Todd is grateful just to eat. But the moment he sees missed calls from Theo, panic floods his face. He’s terrified of what will happen when he gets home.

He’s forced to borrow money, lie to friends, even ask for a wage advance — just to keep Theo calm. And when Theo discovers Todd ate without his permission, he explodes. He gives Todd a tenner like an allowance and demands receipts for every penny.

The cruelty escalates. Theo bins a photo of Billy, mocking Todd’s past. When he finds a takeaway carton, he body-shames Todd, lists the calories, and forces him to go for a run as punishment.

Eventually, Todd tries to comply again — desperate to please, desperate to avoid conflict. But his body gives up.

Todd collapses in the street in front of George and Christina.

Unconscious. Broken. Exposed.

It’s the moment everything changes. And for the first time, those around him may finally see the truth about what’s happening behind closed doors.

3. Jodie Ramsay: The Smiling Stranger with a Dark Agenda

Over at Number Eight, David Platt smells danger — and he’s right.

Jodie Ramsay arrived in Weatherfield claiming to be a grieving sister. But David, a man who knows manipulation when he sees it, doesn’t buy her act. Shona wants to believe her, but cracks are starting to show.

Shona follows Jodie to a psychiatric hospital and discovers she’s visiting her estranged father. Jodie spins a tragic story about being his sole carer, pushing Shona’s sympathy buttons.

But then the manipulation begins.

Jodie encourages a girls’ night out, gets Shona drunk, and leaves David to pick up the pieces. The next day, she plays the perfect houseguest — cooking breakfast, smiling sweetly.

When David voices concerns to Nick, he admits something feels wrong. And viewers see exactly why.

Alone, Jodie takes out a hidden locket. Then she deliberately smashes a wedding photo of David and Shona while “dusting”.

It’s not an accident.

It’s a warning.

4. Bernie Winter and the Man Who Knows Too Much

Bernie Winter-Alahan is rattled like never before when a familiar face returns — Mao Roer, a man connected to her past scandal involving drink and drugs.

Mao turns up working on Roy’s flat, of all places. Ryan recognises him, and Bernie panics. She manages to cover, but she’s terrified Mao will expose her to Dev.

Eventually, Bernie confesses everything to Gemma, who urges her to come clean before it’s too late. But Mao isn’t just passing through.

He lies to Roy about needing a full rewire — just to stay close.

He watches Bernie and Dev together.

And he’s clearly enjoying holding power over her.

Is he planning blackmail? Or something worse?

5. Daniel Osborne Realises the Truth About His Attack

Daniel goes to visit the man imprisoned for attacking him on Christmas Day — and within minutes, realises the truth.

This man is innocent.

Or covering for someone.

Daniel starts piecing together clues, and his suspicions turn to Will Driscoll. When Maggie mentions Will’s violent temper, the penny drops.

The real attacker is still free.

And Daniel is living alongside him.

6. Lauren Bolton’s Party Could Turn Dangerous

Lauren finally gets asked out by Ollie Driscoll. A student party. New clothes. New hope.

But Lauren’s history makes this fragile. And with the Driscoll family hiding dark secrets, it’s hard not to fear this “sweet” storyline is the calm before disaster.

7. Carla’s Surprise Collides with Carl’s Inferno

Carla plans a surprise for Lisa Swain at the Chariot Square Hotel.

Canapés. Smiles. Romance.

Unaware that Carl Webster is planning to burn the building to the ground.

And when those two storylines collide?

Weatherfield may never be the same again.

Next week on Coronation Street isn’t just dramatic — it’s explosive. Arson, abuse, manipulation, and hidden violence converge into one of the most intense weeks in years.

And when the flames finally rise, no one will escape unscathed.
